A glowing flying skull above a mine tunnel, with separate cards for the Straw Boss assignment and earlier Halloween hats.

Deep Rock Galactic’s Halloween event gives new and returning hats separate assignments

Hoxxes Halloween runs through November 5. The Straw Boss headgear and earlier Halloween hats come from different assignments, while flying skulls add a Performance Point bonus.

A survival ship sails between islands above underwater ruins; a 21-day two-phase marker sits over two conflicting calendar cards, November 12 and November 18, separated by a question mark.

Once Human’s Isles of Abyss launch has two dates for its permanent server

The ocean PvE scenario is live across PC, console, and mobile, with shipbuilding and a server-wide endgame. Two official pages give different dates for its permanent server.

Four generic robots look across a fungal moon landscape beside separate 1.0 and 2.0.1 version cards.

Mycopunk 1.0 adds the Mycologist and X11-B, then fixes early progression bugs

The October 20 full release adds a new employee, mission, weapon, region, and mastery system. Patch 2.0.1 arrived the next day with fixes for two progression checks and several achievements.

Star Trek: Outposts Unknown asks players to build a research outpost

The October 20 Steam release is a single-player colony builder about a Starfleet crew in the 23rd century. Its review points to a familiar management loop with a story-led structure.

A flame altar separates a voxel-built home from a volcanic valley; an open skill tree floats above, and a glowing line connects a foreground pressure plate to the home’s door.

Enshrouded 1.0 keeps old saves, but your skill tree resets

Keen Games says Early Access worlds remain usable after the October 15 launch, though a new world is encouraged because the opening region changed. The full release adds Cinder’s Cradle and closes the story, but also resets existing characters’ skill trees.

A desert settlement sits beneath a mountain ridge and oil derricks; two motorbikes, a radio, a waterskin and a reset-arrow sign fill the foreground under New map, fresh start.

DayZ Badlands adds Nasdara, while Update 1.30 starts everyone fresh

The October 15 release pairs a paid desert map with a broader 1.30 update. Nasdara is the expansion’s centerpiece, but the launch also added general-game features and wiped progress on every platform.

Older reward cards retain their item icons on a stack; a glowing point curves toward a separate blue pass card marked with 60 levels.

ARC Raiders Frozen Trail moves old Raider Decks into a Legacy Pass

Update 2.0 preserves rewards already earned, but changes how progression works: Cred is gone, Reward Points feed only the pass you have selected, and just one pass can be active at a time.

A pixel-art-style descent toward the Theia boss, with four distinct agent silhouettes choosing between a branching dungeon route and a faster breach arena.

Neon Abyss 2 leaves Early Access with a new Titan and Storm Breach

Version 1.0 adds Theia, a co-op mode released from beta, per-Agent records and several build changes. Veewo lists Steam, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S for the full launch; its earlier purchase offer gave Early Access buyers Archenemy Returns at no charge.

A branching hunt map shows a smoke-covered route, a red Bloodweaver marker under a Blood Moon, and a separate Hunter pack card.

Hunt: Showdown’s Blood Testament Chapter 2 separates free changes from a paid Hunter pack

Inferno returned on October 6, while the new weavers and three event rewards were scheduled for October 13. The October chapter also brought a separately priced cosmetic DLC whose name differs between Crytek’s story post and Steam’s product listing.

An alternate-fantasy city map transitions from a bright downtown block to a haunted university and shadowed exchange, with six hero silhouettes along a vote board.

Deadlock’s City Never Sleeps adds six heroes while staying invite-only

Valve’s September 29 update rebuilt much of Deadlock’s New York map, refreshed the HUD and introduced six heroes whose release order players voted on. The final hero arrived October 20, but the game remains a friend-invite playtest rather than a public release.
